Memories of Yesteryears Echo Through Time

Poetry Image

In the quiet corners of my mind,
Old whispers of laughter and tears intertwine,
The days of youth, so warm, so kind,
Now mere shadows of a distant sign.

Beneath the twilight’s gentle embrace,
I see our footprints on the sandy shore,
Moments of joy, we used to chase,
Forever etched in my heart’s core.

The rustle of autumn leaves speak,
Of times we wandered hand in hand,
Each falling leaf, a memory’s streak,
Painting a portrait, ever so grand.

Though years have flown and paths diverged,
In dreams, those days are mine to find,
Nostalgia’s sweet song, forever surged,
Binding the present with threads of time.
