Memories of Playgrounds and Sunshine: A Journey Back to Innocence

Poetry Image

In fields of green and skies so blue,
Where laughter echoes, and time is new,
We built our dreams with sticks and stones,
In childhood’s realm, we felt at home.

The swing sets creaked with joy so pure,
Our hearts were light, our spirits sure,
We chased the wind, we caught the sun,
In endless days of simple fun.

Beneath the trees, we whispered tales,
Of kings and queens and pirate sails,
Our fantasies had no restraint,
In our young minds, a world so quaint.

Now grown, we look back with a sigh,
To days when dreams could touch the sky,
Forever etched in memory’s frame,
Childhood’s magic, forever the same.
