Memories of Old Friends

Poetry Image

In the quiet moments of the past we shared,
The laughter echoed through the years,
Our youthful days, so unprepared,
For life’s unfolding, joys and tears.

We walked together, hand in hand,
Through paths both smooth and rough,
Each secret spoken, each promise planned,
In whispers tender, words enough.

Time has flown, and days have passed,
Yet in my heart, you’re ever near,
The bonds we formed, forever last,
In memories cherished, crystal clear.

Old friends we are, though miles apart,
Your spirit lingers, warm and true,
In every beat of this old heart,
I find a piece of you.
