Memories of Childhood Echoes

Poetry Image

In the garden where laughter blooms,
We chased the sun and painted skies,
With dreams as big as the moon,
Our innocence knew no goodbyes.

Beneath the whispering trees,
We carved our names in bark,
Secret hideaways and mysteries,
In every shadow, in every park.

The swing sets sang our songs,
As we flew higher than the clouds,
Time stood still, so long,
In that world where we were unbowed.

Now those days are but a dream,
A distant echo of our youth,
Yet in my heart, it seems,
Childhood remains an eternal truth.
