Memories of a Father’s Love: Coping with the Loss

Poetry Image

The days are long and nights are cold,
Since the day you left, stories untold.
Your laughter echoes, your wisdom profound,
In my heart, your love is found.

I walk the paths we once knew,
Feeling the void, longing for you.
Your guidance, your strength, your gentle care,
Now just memories, everywhere.

The world keeps spinning, time moves on,
Yet in my soul, the ache is strong.
A father’s love, so deeply missed,
In every sunset, in every mist.

I cherish the moments, hold them tight,
In the darkness, they bring light.
Though you’re gone, your spirit stays,
Guiding me through all my days.
