Medusa: The Gorgon of Tragic Beauty and Eternal Curse

Poetry Image

In shadowed caves where whispers dwell,Medusa weeps in silent plight. Her eyes that once held stories untold,Now freeze the world in mortal fright. Her hair, a nest of serpents wild,Twists and turns in restless dance.A curse bestowed by goddess’ ire,A beauty lost to happenstance.Yet in her gaze, a sadness lies,For once she walked with mortal grace. Now stone and silence mark her path,A tragic fate she must embrace. But deep within those frozen tears,A heart of longing still beats true. For love and light she longs to find,In darkened halls where shadows grew.
