Mars: The Red Desert’s Lament

Poetry Image

Upon the scarlet sands of Mars,
Where silence whispers ancient tales,
The crimson dunes in endless bars,
Guard secrets of celestial trails.

Beneath the iron oxide sky,
A world of mysteries unfolds,
The echoes of the past still cry,
Through canyons deep and mountains bold.

The winds that sweep o’er valleys wide,
Carry whispers from a time unknown,
When rivers flowed in graceful tide,
And life on Mars had seeds once sown.

Oh, Mars, your desolate embrace,
Holds dreams of what might come to be,
As humans reach to touch your face,
And write a new celestial decree.
