Lost in the Shadows of Myself

Poetry Image

In the mirror’s reflection, a stranger I see,
A soul once vibrant, now adrift in the sea.
Eyes that once sparkled with dreams and delight,
Now glazed with shadows, lost in the night.

Whispers of memories echo in the void,
Traces of laughter, now distant and toyed.
I search for the fragments, the pieces of me,
But find only echoes of who I used to be.

The paths I once walked, now shrouded in mist,
My essence dissolved, like a fleeting tryst.
Yearning to find the light within,
But darkness prevails, a battle I can’t win.

Yet in the depths, a spark may ignite,
A glimmer of hope, a beacon of light.
For though I’ve wandered, lost and astray,
I’ll find myself again, come what may.
