Longing in the Quiet Hours of Night

Poetry Image

In the quiet hours of the night,
When stars whisper secrets to the moon,
I find myself lost in memories,
Wishing you were here, close and soon.

The wind carries your gentle laughter,
Through the rustling leaves and sighs,
Every shadow seems to hold your shape,
As tears gather in my eyes.

Across the vast sea of dreams,
Your voice echoes like a distant song,
I reach out to touch your presence,
But the distance feels so long.

In the dawn’s soft embrace,
I hold onto the hope of our reunion,
Until then, in my heart you remain,
A cherished and eternal companion.
