Letting Go: A Heart’s Silent Farewell to a Love Once Held Close

Poetry Image

In the quiet of the night, whispers fade,
Echoes of laughter, a melody played.
Time stands still in the shadows we cast,
Holding on to moments, now part of the past.
Your eyes, a gentle sea where dreams did dance,
Now distant shores in a fleeting glance.
We built a world between heartbeats and sighs,
Yet love’s tender flame flickers and dies.
The paths we’ve walked, now diverge and part,
A tapestry woven, yet we must start.
Memories linger, a bittersweet song,
In letting go, we find where we belong.
Though tears may fall like a gentle rain,
Our hearts will heal from the silent pain.
For in the ending, a new dawn will rise,
With hope reborn, beneath the endless skies.
