Leaving Behind the Familiar Shores

Poetry Image

As I pack my memories in a suitcase,
The echoes of laughter linger in the air,
The whispers of old streets call my name,
Yet I must leave, embracing the unknown.

The horizon stretches wide and far,
Promises of new beginnings await,
Uncharted paths and dreams to chase,
In this journey, I find my fate.

Friends become memories, places turn to tales,
Each step forward a silent goodbye,
The heart aches, yet hopes prevail,
For in change, we learn to fly.

So, here I go, with courage in my veins,
To a future bright and untold,
Leaving behind the familiar shores,
Embracing new stories to unfold.
