Laughing Through the Wrinkles: The Comedy of Aging

Poetry Image

The mirror shows a tale untold,
Of laugh lines and stories bold,
Each wrinkle a chapter in the book,
Of years gone by, with a knowing look.

Glasses perched upon the nose,
Misplacing keys, oh how it goes!
Laughter echoes in the hall,
Aging gracefully, we stand tall.

Memory plays its little tricks,
Forgetting names, mixing up the mix,
Yet joy is found in every day,
Embracing life in a quirky way.

So here’s to the years, both young and old,
With humor, our hearts unfold,
For in every laugh, a treasure lies,
The gift of age, where wisdom flies.
