Langston Hughes: Love’s Whisper in Harlem’s Night

Poetry Image

In Harlem’s embrace, where dreams ignite,
Love whispers softly through the night.
A melody of hope and gentle care,
In every heart, it finds its share.

Beneath the moon’s gentle, watchful gaze,
Souls unite in passionate blaze.
With words like silk, and touch like rain,
Love conquers fear and eases pain.

Langston’s verses, a tender balm,
Guide the weary to a place of calm.
In every line, a lover’s plea,
For unity, for you and me.

Love’s power, vast and unrestrained,
In Hughes’ world, forever ingrained.
A testament to the world above,
That Harlem’s heart still beats with love.
