In the Spaces Between Where I Don’t Belong

Poetry Image

In the crowd, yet all alone,
A whisper lost in a sea of sound,
Searching for a place called home,
But no solid ground is found.

Faces turn but never see,
The heart that beats out of sync,
A melody that longs to be,
More than just a missing link.

In shadows where the light won’t reach,
I carve my path, unseen, unheard,
Silence becomes my only speech,
In a world that blurs each word.

But in these spaces in between,
I find a strength, a hidden grace,
And though I wander, lost, unseen,
I am more than just this place.
