In the shadows of suppression, we silently weep,
Bound by chains that cut so deep,
Voices muffled, dreams deferred,
Our cries for freedom remain unheard.
Beneath the weight of unjust might,
We struggle through the endless night,
Eyes that once shone with hope’s bright gleam,
Now dimmed by the crushing of each dream.
Walls of silence, thick and high,
Encase our souls, we dare not try,
To speak the truths we hold inside,
For fear of what the dark may hide.
Yet in the heart of every soul,
Burns a flame that can’t be controlled,
And one day light will pierce the shroud,
Oppression’s end, our voices loud.
