In the Shadows of Silence, Where the Heart Whispers Loneliness

Poetry Image

In the quiet corners where whispers grow,
A shadow falls on dreams untold.
Beneath the weight of secrets’ flow,
The heart beats slow, in stories old.

Eyes that once sparkled with morning light,
Now hold the dusk of endless night.
Words that cut like shards of glass,
Echo in halls where memories pass.

Bruises hidden beneath the skin,
Speak of battles fought within.
Silent cries in the still of the moon,
Longing for the dawn to come soon.

Yet in the depths where hope seems lost,
A flame flickers, despite the cost.
For even in the darkest mist,
Resilience and courage still persist.
