In the Shadows of Self-Doubt

Poetry Image

In the quiet hours of the night,When the world fades to gray,I find a mirror reflecting my fears,A face I wish would fade away. The whispers echo in my mind,Words of disdain and shame,I wear the mask of loathing,In this relentless, silent game.Every step feels heavy,Under the weight of my own disdain,I search for solace in the darkness,Yet find only more pain. But perhaps in these shadows,A flicker of light remains unseen,A hope to embrace my flaws,And learn to love what’s been.
