In the Shadows of Prejudice: A Cry for Equality and Acceptance

Poetry Image

In the shadows where whispers lie,
Beneath the gaze of judging eyes,
A world divided by unseen lines,
Where hearts are heavy, truth confined.

Voices silenced by the weight of fear,
Dreams deferred year after year,
A tapestry of human souls,
Torn apart, yet seeking whole.

Beneath the surface, we are the same,
Bound by hope, yet shackled by shame,
In every face, a story untold,
A longing for warmth in the cold.

Let us rise above and break the chains,
Embrace the differences none should feign,
For in the heart’s embrace, we find,
A world reborn, where love is blind.
