In the Shadows of Despair: A Journey Through the Depths of Depression

Poetry Image

In the shadows of despair, I sink so deep,
A silent scream within, no voice to weep.
The night is long and hope seems far away,
In this endless gloom, I lose my way.

The weight of sorrow pulls me to the ground,
In a sea of thoughts, where I am bound.
Each breath a struggle, each step a fight,
In the prison of my mind, there is no light.

The world outside moves on without a care,
While I am trapped in this despair.
The walls close in, the darkness grows,
And in this void, no one knows.

Yet somewhere deep, a flicker remains,
A fragile spark amidst the chains.
And though the path is fraught with pain,
I’ll find the strength to rise again.
