In the Shadow of Conflict: Echoes of a War-Torn World

Poetry Image

In fields once green, now painted red,
The echoes of a past unsaid,
Where silence falls, yet hearts still weep,
In solemn rows, where memories sleep.

Through shattered skies and broken dreams,
The world is torn at fragile seams,
Yet in the dark, a glimmer stays,
Of hope that waits for brighter days.

The restless winds, they carry tales,
Of heroes lost and battles pale,
In whispered tones, the stories flow,
Of courage found in depths of woe.

Beneath the scars and endless night,
A yearning for a distant light,
In unity, the strength we find,
To heal the wounds of humankind.
