In the Quiet of Advent’s Eve

Poetry Image

As twilight fades to night’s embrace,
A whisper soft, a sacred space,
Where hearts await with bated breath,
The promise of a humble birth.

In candle’s glow, in silent prayer,
Hope flickers gently, free from despair,
Each moment holds a timeless grace,
In Advent’s gentle, patient face.

The world slows down, the spirit wakes,
In waiting, all the darkness breaks,
A star will rise, a light will come,
To guide us to the Holy One.

So let us wait, with hearts unbound,
In sacred stillness, love is found,
For in this time, in quiet cheer,
We find the Lord is drawing near.
