In the Mirror of Despair

Poetry Image

In the mirror of despair, I see a face,
A visage of sorrow, devoid of grace.
Eyes that once sparkled now dimmed with strife,
Reflecting the turmoil that darkens my life.

Shadows whisper tales of regret and shame,
Echoes of failures, a relentless flame.
Heart heavy with burdens, hard to forgive,
In this endless cycle, I struggle to live.

Each scar tells a story of battles lost,
The price of self-loathing, an unbearable cost.
Haunted by voices that never relent,
A soul trapped in torment, unable to repent.

Yet in this darkness, a glimmer of light,
A hope that one day, I’ll win this fight.
To find peace within and love myself whole,
To heal the fractures and reclaim my soul.
