In the Embrace of Idleness

Poetry Image

In the soft cradle of a lazy day,
I find solace in the gentle sway.
Time drifts by with no intent,
Every moment blissfully spent.

The sun lingers, casting a golden hue,
As dreams and thoughts intertwine and brew.
No rush, no race, just endless ease,
In this state, I find my peace.

The world can wait, with all its haste,
For here, there’s no such thing as waste.
Every breath, a quiet song,
In this lazy day, I belong.

Let the hours slip through my hands,
Like grains of sand on distant lands.
In the embrace of sweet repose,
I cherish this gift, this calm I chose.
