As the sun begins to rise,
A symphony of clucks and calls,
Feathered friends in soft disguise,
In the coop, life’s gentle thralls.
Pecking grains on earthen floor,
Wings that flutter, hearts that soar,
Simple lives yet so much more,
In the coop, we all adore.
Morning light on golden plumes,
Whisper secrets of the loom,
In their song, the day resumes,
In the coop, dispelling gloom.
Unity in every peck,
Harmony in every speck,
In their midst, we too reflect,
In the coop, our spirits check.
