In Shadows of the Self, Where Worth Fades Away

Poetry Image

In the silent void, where echoes fail to speak,
I wander lost, in shadows of the meek.
A heart that once held dreams so bright,
Now withers in the absence of light.

Beneath the stars that whisper tales of old,
I feel my worth in fragments, cold.
A silent scream in the night’s embrace,
Reflects a soul, lost in space.

The mirror shows a face unknown,
A stranger’s eyes, an empty throne.
Where once was fire, now lies ash,
The remnants of a fleeting flash.

Yet in this dusk, I seek a spark,
To reignite the light, to leave a mark.
For even in the darkest night,
There’s hope to find a glimpse of light.
