I Told the Stars About You

Poetry Image

In the quiet of the night, I whispered to the stars,
Tales of your laughter, your eyes like twin scars,
They listened in silence, their light softly gleamed,
Reflecting the beauty of the dreams that we dreamed.

I told them of moments, so tender and true,
Of the times when my world revolved around you,
They twinkled with wonder, each shimmering light,
A testament to the love that felt so right.

The stars seemed to shimmer with every word,
As if your name was the sweetest they’d heard,
In their celestial dance, they carried our song,
A melody of love that could never go wrong.

So, if you look up and see their soft glow,
Know that they hold the secrets I bestow,
For in the vastness of the midnight blue,
I told the stars, my dear, all about you.
