Hope is the Thing with Feathers: A Tribute to Emily Dickinson’s Eternal Song

Poetry Image

In the silent corners of the soul,
Where whispers of dreams softly reside,
Hope, a gentle bird, takes its toll,
Lifting hearts with wings open wide.

Unseen yet felt in the quiet night,
A melody that knows no end,
Guiding us through the darkest fright,
With promises it subtly sends.

In every storm, it bravely sings,
A beacon through the blinding rain,
With feathers of light, it softly clings,
Refusing to yield to any pain.

Hope, the eternal song within,
Unfaltering, pure, and ever bright,
A testament to where we begin,
A steadfast friend in the endless night.
