With each day that passes by, we gain another line,
A testament to laughter, to moments so divine,
Our hair may turn to silver, our steps might slow and sway,
But oh the tales we gather, in every single day.
Remember when we danced, and stayed up through the night?
Now we chuckle at the thought, and sigh with sheer delight,
The mirror shows a face thatâs rich with wisdomâs glow,
Each wrinkle is a story, each line a friend we know.
Weâve learned to laugh at creaks, at joints that like to pop,
And though we move a bit more slow, we never want to stop,
For every age has beauty, in ways we never knew,
And aging with a sense of fun, is something tried and true.
So hereâs to growing older, with giggles and with grace,
To finding joy in every line, and love in every space,
Letâs toast to all the memories, the laughter and the cheer,
For aging is a journey, that we hold oh so dear.
