Beneath the moon’s soft glowing light,
The owls hoot in silent flight,
While crickets chirp with all their might,
The forest sings through the night.
The gentle deer in shadows prance,
As fireflies begin their dance,
The wolves in distance dare a glance,
In this nocturnal, wild romance.
The foxes slyly make their way,
Through meadows where the rabbits play,
The nightingale will start to sway,
To melodies that never stray.
As morning breaks with golden hue,
The creatures bid the night adieu,
A peaceful calm, a freshened view,
The forest’s song, forever true.
