Flickering Flames of Silent Whispers

Poetry Image

In the stillness of the night so deep,
Candles burn with secrets to keep,
Their flames dance in a whispered sigh,
Casting shadows that seem to fly.

The wax melts slow, like tears of time,
In a room where silence is sublime,
Each flicker tells a tale untold,
Of memories both warm and cold.

Gentle glow in the darkened space,
Bringing warmth with a soft embrace,
The candlelight, a tender friend,
Whose light will guide till the very end.

As dawn approaches, the flame grows dim,
The night’s soft whispers start to trim,
But the candle’s light, though it may fade,
Leaves behind a glow that won’t evade.
