Beneath the skies of azure blue,
Where childhood dreams once freely flew,
I leave the home Iâve always known,
To wander paths as yet unshown.
The walls that whispered tales of yore,
Now echo silent, evermore,
As footsteps trace a path away,
Into the dawn of a new day.
With every step, a memory clings,
Of laughter shared and secret things,
A chapter closed, yet not erased,
As future’s canvas now is faced.
Though heart may ache and tears may fall,
The journey’s call transcends them all,
For in the leaving, I shall find,
The strength to grow, the ties that bind.
