Example of Self

Poetry Image

In the mirror of my mind, I see,
A reflection that’s both wild and free,
An essence that whispers softly, “be”,
The truest form of what is me.

Through the storms and calm alike,
A spirit that knows when to strike,
A heart that beats to its own pike,
In valleys deep and mountains high.

Shadows dance and light does soar,
In the depths of my core,
A narrative that forevermore,
Tells the tale of my inner lore.

So here I stand, with open eyes,
Embracing all the lows and highs,
A testament that never lies,
To the example of self that never dies.
