Equal Voices, Unequal Choices: A Reflection on Gender Inequality

Poetry Image

In the shadow of the silent night,
Voices whisper tales untold,
Of dreams held back by unseen chains,
In a world where courage is sold.

She stands with eyes full of stars,
Yet the world shrouds her light,
In corridors where whispers echo,
Her strength remains out of sight.

Through glass ceilings she gazes,
At horizons painted with hope,
But the brush in her hand wavers,
Bound by society’s rope.

Let the dawn break with justice,
Where every voice finds its song,
In unity, let us march forward,
To a world where all belong.
