Emily Dickinson’s Quiet Departure

Poetry Image

In the stillness of her room,
Where words breathed life and bloom,
She penned her thoughts on death,
And whispered with her final breath.

The silence echoed in her mind,
A tranquil peace she sought to find,
In her verses, death was near,
Yet she faced it without fear.

Her words, a bridge to the unknown,
In solitude, her courage shown,
Emily’s journey to the end,
In quiet grace, her soul did send.

Though her life was brief and shy,
Her legacy will never die,
For in her poetry, she lives on,
Emily Dickinson, forever gone.
