Elegy for Dylan Thomas: The Rage Against the Dying Light

Poetry Image

In the quiet whispers of the night,
Where shadows dance with fleeting light,
Your voice, Dylan, echoes strong,
In verses where we belong.

Against the dying of the day,
You raged, you fought, you found your way,
Through words that pierce the silent veil,
In lines that tell a timeless tale.

The night will come, as nights must do,
Yet your spirit remains, forever true,
In every line, in every rhyme,
You conquer death, you master time.

So let the world remember well,
The poet’s voice that dared to tell,
Of life, of death, of love’s own song,
In Dylan Thomas, we stay strong.
