Echoes of Your Absence: In Memory’s Embrace

Poetry Image

In the quiet of the night, your laughter fades away,
An echo in the distance, where shadows softly play.
Your touch, a memory that slips through time’s tight grasp,
A whisper in the wind, a fleeting, tender clasp.

The world feels colder now, with you no longer near,
Your absence like a void, a silence we must bear.
Yet in my heart, your light continues to reside,
A beacon in the dark, a love that will not hide.

I see you in the stars that paint the evening sky,
In every gentle breeze, in every tear I cry.
Though death has taken you, it cannot steal away,
The bond we shared in life, that always here will stay.

So I carry on, with you in every beat,
Your spirit guiding me, until again we meet.
In dreams, you visit me, and for a moment, we,
Are reunited, whole, in sweet eternity.
