Echoes of Silence: Reflections on a Pandemic’s Hold

Poetry Image

In the quiet of the morning light,
Echoes of silence fill the air,
Streets once bustling now stand still,
A world in pause, a muted prayer.

Faces hidden behind fabric veils,
Eyes speak the words we cannot say,
Distant greetings replace warm embraces,
Hope and fear dance in the fray.

Days blend into nights unending,
Time a river slow and vast,
Memories of normalcy fading,
We cling to dreams of futures past.

Yet in the stillness, hearts awaken,
Finding strength in love and care,
Together, apart, we weave the threads,
Of a new dawn, a brighter air.
