Echoes of Resilience: A Journey Through Black History’s Shadows

Poetry Image

Through darkness and despair, a light still gleamed,
In chains and shackles, their spirits never waned.
From cotton fields to freedom’s dreams,
A legacy of strength, unchained.

Voices silenced by oppression’s hand,
Yet their whispers grew to mighty roars.
Marching through the promised land,
Breaking down injustice’s doors.

From Harlem’s Renaissance to civil rights,
Their stories etched in history’s heart.
For every struggle, a beacon of light,
Black history’s tale, a work of art.

So we honor those who paved the way,
With courage, hope, and fearless might.
Their legacy lives on today,
In every soul that stands for right.
