Echoes of African Ancestry: A Dance of Heritage, Tradition, and Spirit

Poetry Image

Beneath the baobab’s ancient shade, we gather,
Stories whispered through drums, a rhythmic tether,
To the land of our forebears, rich and vast,
Where the spirit of Ubuntu binds us fast.

Colors vibrant, like the kente cloth we wear,
Each pattern a history, woven with care,
From the savannas to the bustling towns,
The heart of Africa in every sound.

Ancestors’ voices in the wind’s soft sigh,
Guiding our hearts, lifting our spirits high,
Through the dance of life, we celebrate,
The culture of Africa, intricate and great.

From the Maasai’s leap to the Zulu’s song,
In unity and strength, we all belong,
A tapestry of traditions, proud and bright,
Africa’s legacy, a beacon of light.
