Echoes of a Faded Love

Poetry Image

In the whispering winds of autumn’s call,
I hear the echoes of a love now gone,
Shadows of laughter that once adorned,
Now lost in the silence of dawn.

Beneath the moon’s pale, tender light,
Memories dance in the still of night,
A heart once full, now left forlorn,
Yearning for the warmth it has outworn.

The stars that once aligned for us,
Now scatter in a sky so vast,
Dreams of forever, fragile as dust,
Dissolve in the tears of the past.

Yet in the quiet of a broken heart,
Hope whispers softly, a brand new start,
For love may fade, but never dies,
It lives in the echoes of our goodbyes.
