Echoes in the Silent Night: A Tale of Loneliness and Shadows

Poetry Image

In the quiet of the night, I find my solace,
Shadows dance upon the wall, my only friends.
The world outside is distant, cold, and callous,
As my heart aches with wounds that never mend.

The stars above, they whisper ancient stories,
Of love and loss, of dreams that fade away.
Amidst the silence, hidden are the glories,
And all I feel is darkness in the fray.

The emptiness within, it grows and festers,
A void that nothing seems to fill or quell.
My thoughts are like a storm, a roaring tempest,
Trapped in a prison, in my private hell.

Yet in the darkest hour, a sliver of hope,
A distant light that beckons from afar.
Though loneliness and sorrow tie the rope,
I’ll fight to find my way, to heal the scar.
