Deception’s Veil: The Art of Lying and Cheating

Poetry Image

Beneath the moon’s deceptive glow,
Lies are whispered, truths unknown.
A heart once pure, now shadowed deep,
In webs of falsehood, secrets keep.

The eyes that sparkle, masks they wear,
Promises broken, none to spare.
Trust once solid, now a fragile glass,
Shattered pieces, time can’t amass.

Cheating hearts, a tragic play,
Love’s illusion fades away.
Silent screams of pain, despair,
Echo in the midnight air.

Yet, in the dark, a lesson learned,
From trust betrayed and bridges burned.
Lying tongues and cheating hands,
Teach us where true honor stands.
