Confession of Love in the Moonlight

Poetry Image

Under the silver glow of the moon,
My heart beats with a rhythm so true,
Words flutter like leaves in June,
As I finally confess my love to you.

Your eyes, twin stars in the night,
Draw forth the deepest of my sighs,
With every glance, they ignite,
A love that in my heart never dies.

The whispers of the evening breeze,
Carry secrets only we can hear,
In your presence, time seems to freeze,
And all my doubts disappear.

So here I stand beneath the sky,
With courage gathered from above,
To say, without a single lie,
You are my one true love.
