In shadows deep, where whispers lie,
Beneath the veil of every sky,
Prejudice weaves its silent thread,
In minds where ignorance is fed.
The stranger’s face, unknown, unseen,
Through tinted lenses, never clean,
Judgments form with haste and fire,
Building walls that grow much higher.
Yet hearts unbound by fear and hate,
Can shatter chains, unlock the gate,
For kindness grows where love is free,
And blinds the eyes of bigotry.
So let us walk with open eyes,
Beyond the mask of darkened skies,
To see the soul, not just the skin,
And find the unity within.
