Breaking Chains: The Silent Burden of Toxic Masculinity

Poetry Image

In shadows deep, where silence screams,
Lies the weight of unspoken dreams.
A mask worn tight, a heart concealed,
Beneath the armor, wounds unhealed.

Voices echo, yet unheard,
In a world where softness is deferred.
The gentle soul, forced to conform,
To rigid norms of a weathered storm.

Tears unshed, like rivers dammed,
Strength defined by a steely hand.
Yet beneath the surface, cracks appear,
In the façade built on silent fear.

Oh, to break these chains that bind,
To embrace the self that’s left behind.
Freedom calls from beyond the night,
To live in truth, to bask in light.
