Bound in Shadows and Chains, The Silent Cry of Captivity, The Unseen Bars of Our Minds, A Prison Without Walls

Poetry Image

In the silence of the night, I hear the chains rattle,
Invisible binds that hold me tight, in a battle,
My spirit yearns to soar, yet grounded I remain,
Trapped in this unseen cage, enduring constant pain.

The walls close in, though none can see,
An endless maze of thoughts, binding me,
Each step I take, a shadow follows near,
Whispering doubts and feeding fear.

Dreams of freedom dance just out of reach,
A light that fades with every beseech,
The weight of hope too heavy to bear,
Yet still I dream, despite the snare.

One day, the chains will rust and break,
The shadows will lift, and I’ll awake,
To a world unbound, where I am free,
Until then, I endure silently.
