Bound by Invisible Chains

Poetry Image

In shadows deep, my spirit cries,
Bound by chains unseen, it lies.
A prison forged of silent screams,
Trapped within a maze of dreams.

The walls close in, no light to see,
A heart that yearns to break and flee.
Yet every step, a tether tight,
Holds me fast in endless night.

The world outside, a distant shore,
Freedom’s call, I long for more.
But here I stay, my soul confined,
Seeking peace I cannot find.

Oh, to escape this shadowed plight,
To soar beyond, into the light.
Yet here, entangled, I remain,
Bound by chains of endless pain.
