Between Friendship and Desire: A Dance of Hearts

Poetry Image

In the gentle glow of twilight’s grace,
We share a silence, face to face.
Laughter echoes, secrets untold,
In friendship’s warmth, a love unfolds.

Your smile, a beacon in the night,
Guiding me with its tender light.
Yet beneath the surface, a longing stirs,
A whispered dream, a heart’s soft murmur.

We walk the line of what could be,
In every glance, a mystery.
The space between us, thin as lace,
Holds a world we dare not face.

If words could break this silent spell,
Would we dance, or bid farewell?
In friendship’s realm, our hearts reside,
But dreams of more, we cannot hide.
