Betrayal in the Shadows: When Trust Fades Away, A Friendship’s Silent Fall, The Unseen Wounds of Deceit

Poetry Image

In the garden where laughter grew,
Two souls once danced in morning’s hue.
Promises whispered in the gentle breeze,
Bound by the trust only friends seize.

Yet, beneath the surface, shadows crept,
Secrets hidden, silently kept.
A smile turned sharp, a glance turned cold,
The warmth of friendship began to fold.

Words once sweet now tasted bitter,
Trust shattered, hearts left to wither.
The path once shared, now split and torn,
In the silence, a friendship mourns.

Echoes linger of what used to be,
In memories, a haunting plea.
For time can’t heal the wounds unseen,
When betrayal stains where love has been.
