An Unseen Struggle: The Shadows of Poverty and Hunger

Poetry Image

In the heart of forgotten streets,
Where whispers of hunger softly weep,
Children with dreams that never meet,
Clutching hopes they try to keep.

Beneath the sky’s indifferent gaze,
Empty plates and weary eyes,
In silent prayers their spirits raise,
Yearning for a world less disguised.

The winds carry tales of silent cries,
Of mothers with burdens too cruel to bear,
In shadows where dignity slowly dies,
A plea for kindness, a call to care.

Yet in the midst of this endless night,
A flicker of hope begins to glow,
For in unity and shared sight,
A brighter path we seek to sow.
